A . In accordance with Contract No . 1 This Work Order No . _ 1 _ is in accordance with the existing AGREEMENT dated September 8 , 2009 between Donadio & Associates , Architects , P . A . ( CONSULTANT) and Indian River County ( COUNTY) . This Work Order No . _ 1 _ amends the agreement as follows : SECTION I — PROJECT LIMITS This Work Order No . _ 1 _ is for the CONSULTANT to perform all related field and office architecture and engineering services in connection with the adaptive re - use of the existing structures at the Former Sun Sky Roofing Site adjacent to the Indian River County Sheriff ' s Department Office and Jail Complex . SECTION II - SCOPE OF SERVICES As agreed upon between CONSULTANT and COUNTY , the CONSULTANT shall provide Professional Architectural and Engineering services to complete all tasks as outlined in this Work Order No . 1 ; specifically detailed in the attached proposal Exhibit A . SECTION III — TIME FOR COMPLETION & DELIVERABLES/WORK PRODUCT 1 . Project shall be completed as follows : a . Time of 100% " Paper Submittal " review (final review prior to request for final deliverables ) submittal shall be 90 calendar Days from notice to proceed . b . Time of FINAL project completion shall be within _ 120_ calendar days of receipt of the County' s review comments . 2 . Deliverables -The CONSULTANT shall provide the COUNTY : a . Consultant Shall : Provide written evaluation of the existing facility for its structural integrity and existing building systems associated with the civil , architectural , IRC Work Order No . Donadio & Associates Page 2 of 3 mechanical , electrical , plumbing and fire protection systems . Confirm as- built documents to be accurate . b . Consultant Shall : Develop conceptual floor plan and elevations , system narratives , outline specifications and preliminary code review . c . CONSULTANT shall : Based on the conceptual design documents provide a written estimate of the probable costs for the project . d . The CONSULTANT' S work product shall meet or exceed the minimum standards as defined by the master AGREEMENT dated September 8 , 2009 or the COUNTY will not approve the CONSULTANT' S request for payment . SECTION IV — COMPENSATION The COUNTY agrees to pay , and the CONSULTANT agrees to accept , for the above described services rendered as identified in Task One , Two and Three of this Work Order No . _ 1 __, for a total lump sum fee of $27 , 500 . 00 . Any additional services not described hereon shall be pre - approved by the COUNTY . Approved additional services shall be invoiced at the rates disclosed in the approved fee schedule with the CONSULTANT in accordance with the AGREEMENT dated September 9 , 2009 . All invoicing shall include Project Name ( Crime Scene Unit) , Work Order No . _ 1 _ (WO _ 1 ) Payments shall be in accordance with the original Professional Services Agreement , with the COUNTY dated September 9 , 2009 . The AGREEMENT is hereby amended as specifically set forth herein . All remaining sections of the AGREEMENT shall remain in full force and effect , and are incorporated herein . IRC Work Order No . August 9 , 2011 August 19, 2011 Revised Mr. Lynn Williams, Manager Facilities Management Indian River County RE : Indian River County Sheriffs Office Proposal for A/E Services — Crime Scene Unit Dear Mr. Williams : Please accept this letter as our proposal for the requested services pertaining to the adaptive re- use of the Sun Sky Properties located adjacent to the existing Sheriff' s Office and IRC Jail Complex . We have had the opportunity to walk through the facilities twice with Sergeant Kyle King, representing the Crime Scene Unit of the IRCSO , and believe we have a fair understanding of his needs and how they can be translated into this planned adaptive re-use of the existing structures . There are three primary tasks that need to be accomplished prior to the initiation of the formal design process . The tasks and associated professional fees are as follows : Task One : Existing Facility Analysis : This task includes evaluation of the existing facility for its structural integrity , as well as the existing building systems associated with civil , architectural , mechanical , electrical , plumbing, and fire protection systems . As-built documents will need to be confirmed to be accurate . Professional Fee : $69000 Task Two : Conceptual Design / Preliminary Code Review : This task includes the development of a conceptual floor plan and elevations , systems narratives , outline specifications, and a preliminary code review . These will be developed with the direct input by the Indian River County Sheriff s Office staff. These conceptual design documents will be packaged and utilized to meet with local vendors and construction trade representatives . Professional Fee : $39800 Architectural/Engineering Services to be provided by Donadio and Associates Architect, P. A. pursuant to this proposal for the Indian River County Sheriff' s Crime Scene Unit shall be provided in accordance with the Master Professional Services Agreement for Architectural Service between Donadio and Associates Architect, P. A. and Indian River County Board of County Commissioners dated and approved on the 8th day of September 2009 .
