HomeMy WebLinkAbout2011-169 A rc JOINT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN 3 INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AND INDIAN RIVER COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY THIS JOINT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT entered into on this 16 day of August , 2011 by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County , Florida , a political . subdivision of the . State of Florida , whose address is 1801 27th Street , Vero Beach , Florida 32960 , hereinafter referred to as " COUNTY " and the Indian River County Housing Authority , a public body corporate and politic pursuant to Florida Statute , Section 421 et seq . , whose address is 1028 20th Place , Vero Beach , Florida 32962 , hereinafter referred to as "HOUSING AUTHORITY" . In consideration of the mutual promises and agreements set forth below , hereby agree as follows . WITNESSETH : . WHEREAS , the COUNTY is currently participating in the Neighborhood Stabilization Program ( NSP ) and other programs that provide assistance to county residents in need of low cost housing ; and WHEREAS , the HOUSING AUTHORITY also participates in the NSP administered by the COUNTY ; and WHEREAS , both parties seek to continue their respective roles in the aforementioned program for the foreseeable future ; and WHEREAS , the COUNTY has been lending staff assistance to the HOUSING AUTHORITY to implement the NSP program ; and WHEREAS , the HOUSING AUTHORITY has been assisting the COUNTY as a qualified NSP entity , NOW , THEREFORE , in consideration of the mutual benefits and other adequate consideration acknowledged by the parties , the parties do agree as follows . 1 .
