THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 1970
The Tax Adjustment Board of Indian.River County, Florida met
in duly called session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida on
Thursday; September 10, 1970 at 9:00 o'clock A. M. Present were
Jack U. Dritenbas, Chairman; Richard P. Bogosian and Alma Lee
Loy, Members of the Board of County Commissioners; and Robert G.
DuBose, Member of the Indian River County School Board. Also
present were Paul D. Burch, Attorney to the Board; Homer C. Fletcher,
Tax Assessor; William G. O'Neal, Esquire, representing Homer C.
Fletcher; and Alfred H. Webber and Janet N. Turpan, Deputy Clerks.
The Chairman called the meeting to order and asked if there
were any additions or corrections to the Tax Adjustment Board minutes.'
of August 14 and August 25. There were none and upon Motion of
Commissioner Loy, second of Commissioner Bogosian, the Board
unanimously approved the minutes of the Tax Adjustment Board meetings
of August 14 and August 25.
Robert A. Johns, owner of Sea Vista Motel, having been duly
sworn as witness, presented his plea on RE #38639. All arguments
having been heard, the Board advised the Petitioner he will be
notified of the Board's decision as prescribed by law.
Sherman X. Smith, Jr., attorney, acting in behalf of 275 Classon
Avenue Realty Corporation and Newport Avenue Realty Corporation on
RE #632, 275 Classon Avenue Realty Corporation and Newport Avenue
Realty Corporation on RE #635, 275 Classon Avenue Realty Corporation

The Board then recessed at 12:00 o'clock Noon.
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 2:00 o'clock P. M.,
same members being present.

On Motion of Mr. DuBose, second of Commissioner Bogosian, the
Board unanimously denied Petition RE #24833, Peter and Rose Hercun.
On Motion of Commissioner Bogosian, second of Mr. DuBose, the
Board unanimously voted that the Clerk be directed to submit the
appropriate notice of approval or denial to the petitioner as to the
action of the Tax Adjustment Board.

the Board unanimously approved the tax roll as certified and accepted
the tax roll as submitted by the Tax Assessor.
The Tax Adjustment Board then adjourned sine die at 2:50 o'_clock
