County, Florida met in special Session at the Courthouse, Vero
Beach, Florida on Monday, May 17, 1971 at 7:30 o'clock P. M.
Present were Richard P. Bogosian, Chairman; Alma Lee Loy, Vice
Chairman; D. B. McCullers, Jr.; Jack U. Dritenbas and Edward J.
Massey. Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator;
Paul D. Burch, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners;
Valentyne E. Brennan, City-County Planning.Director; Thomas J.,
Leonard, Jr., Planning Aide; Dewey Walker County Zoning Inspector;
Lilias E. Mier, Zoning Secretary; and Janet N. Turpan, Deputy
Clerk.
Also present were Ralph Sexton, Chairman;•Lloyd Harrison,
Attorney; and James Ayers of the Indian River County Zoning
Commission.
The Chairman called the meeting to order and stated that
the business of the meeting was the public hearing on the proposed
Indian River County Zoning Ordinance:

The Board reviewed the Pages l through 23: Kenneth Pangburn,

Lawrence Holter, Martin Peterman, Milton Link, Floyd Wilkes,
Gustav Fransen and Rivers Anderson appeared making many suggestions.
After considerable conversation during the review, the chairman
announced that the Public Hearing would be continued to Monday,
May 24 at 7:30 o'clock P. M.
The Board then adjourned at 10:30 o'clock P. M.
