The purpose of Change Order No . 6 is to modify the Contract quantity of Sand Fill to be
provided, placed, and graded by Ranger. Change Order No . 6 reduces the total contacted sand
fill quantity by 25 ,818 cubic yards .
Ranger' s mine sub-contractor was unable to provide the entire Contract quantity of Sand Fill. To
resolve completion of the Construction Contract, Ranger placed the remaining compliant sand
from the mine to construct the berm only section of the Sector 3 design template, affecting a
small section of the dune design template between Treasure Shores Beach Park and a point 1 , 500
feet south.
As a result of the above, the Contract quantity of Sand Fill is reduced from 586,410 cubic yards
to 560, 592 cubic yards. Additionally, the total fuel cost adjustment re aining on the co 4s,
