HomeMy WebLinkAbout6/1/1971TUESDAY, JUNE 1, 1971 The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida met in special session at the Courthouse, Vero { I Beach, Florida on Tuesday, June 1, 1971 at 7:30 o'clock P. M. I Present were Richard P. Bogosian, Chairman; Alma Lee Loy, Vice Chairman; Jack U. Dritenbas and Edward J. Massey. Absent was D. B. McCullers, Jr. Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County I Administrator; Paul D. Burch, Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Valentyne E. Brennan, City=County Planning Director; Thomas J. Leonard, Jr., Planning Aide; Dewey Walker, County Zoning Inspector; Lilias E. Mier, Zoning Secretary; and Janet N. Turpan, Deputy Clerk. Also present were Lloyd Harrison, Attorney; and James Ayers, members of the Indian River County Zoning Commission. The Chairman called the meeting to order and announced that this meeting is a second continuation of the Public Hearing of the meeting of May 17, 1971. Pages 37 through 51 of the proposed Indian River Zoning ordinance were taken in review. -- r Dale Campbell, Frank Young, Mark Hansen and Kenneth Pangburn appeared in regard to Mobile Home Zoning. Milton Link and Rivers Anderson spoke on various phases of Mobile Home Zoning and Planned Unit Development.: John Morrison presented density charts as provided by:� Planned Unit Development. Lloyd Harrison, Charles Herring and. Charles Davis spoke in favor of Planned Unit Development. _ The subject of Non -conformities and other Zoning subjects having been discussed, the Chairman announced that there would be meetings of"the Board, the Zoning Commission and the Attorney to consider the recommendations and changes to be made as a result of these Hearings.
