FINAL DESIGN AND PLANS PREPARATION FOR
CR 510 from CR 512 to east of 75 '" Court
This is an amendment to the existing Final Design and Plans Preparation services agreement
(AGREEMENT) , dated November 17 , 2005 , by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY , hereinafter
referred to as the COUNTY, and STANLEY CONSULTANTS , INC . , hereinafter referred to as the
ENGINEER. This amendment addresses changes in Section III — Scope of Services , Section IV — Time for
Completion, and Section V - Compensation " of the AGREEMENT .
Amendment Description
SECTION I - not applicable
SECTION II — not applicable
SECTION III - SCOPE OF SERVICES is being modified to incorporate the following :
The ENGINEER agrees to perform professional roadway design and related services in connection with the
project as required and set. forth in the following :
A . ROADWAY DESIGN (Stanley Consultants , .Inc . )
Roadway design services will include designing a directional left turn lane at Station 37+00 into
Stoney Point Drive , updating the one roadway plan and profile sheet, four roadway cross section
sheets, one signing and pavement marking sheet, updating drainage calculations due to footprint
changes , quantities , cost estimates and coordination efforts for the following tasks :
1 . Design horizontal alignment for one directional left turn lane median opening .
2 . Revise the labeling on one plan sheet to identify the directional median opening .
3 . Revise seven cross sections to identify the directional median opening .
4 . Recalculate asphalt, base, earthwork, and curb and gutter quantities . Update cost estimate
accordingly.
5 . Reanalyze contributing drainage areas in vicinity of directional median opening for two curb
inlets . Update drainage design and documentation accordingly.
B . SIGNING AND PAVEMENT MARKING PLANS ( Stanley Consultants , Inc . )
Signing and pavement marking plans will include the following tasks :
1 . Redesign pavement markings to incorporate the directional left turn lane median opening.
2 . Revise the labeling on one plan sheet to identify new pavement markings and signage for
directional median opening at Station 37+00 .
3 . Revise signing and pavement marking quantities and cost estimate accordingly.

C , LANDSCAPE PLANS (Gentile , Holloway, O 'Mahoney & Assoc . Inc . , Inc . )
Landscape and irrigation plans will include the following tasks :
1 . Redesign landscape and irrigation within the median between Station 34+40 to 37+40 .
SECTION IV — TIME FOR COMPLETION
Submittal Dates
90% Design Drawings January 21 , 2011
100 % Design Drawings April 22 , 2011
SECTION V - COMPENSATION
The COUNTY agrees to pay and the ENGINEER agrees to accept for services rendered pursuant to
this Agreement fees in accordance with the following :

The basic compensation mutually agreed upon by the ENGINEER and the COUNTY
is as follows :

SECTION XVIII - ENTIRETY OF AGREEMENT
This writing embodies the entire AGREEMENT and understanding between the parties hereto, and
there are no other agreements and understandings , oral or written, with reference to the subject matter hereof
that are not merged herein and superseded hereby.
No alteration, change , or modification of the terms of this Agreement shall be valid unless made in
writing and signed by both parties hereto .
This AGREEMENT , regardless of where executed , shall be governed by and construed according to
the laws of the State of Florida .
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have executed these presents this 2nd day of
November 52010 .
