I . av / o aZ16 MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT This Agreement is entered into by Indian River County Board of County Commissioners , "the County" , and International Brotherhood of Teamsters , Local 769 , "the Union . " ® Bargaining Unit employees will not receive anniversary/merit increases or lump sum anniversary payments for FY 2010/2011 , as listed in Article 33 . 1. of the Collective Bargaining Agreement . Additionally , the Union will not demand to bargain for the cost of living increases as listed in Article 33 . 2 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement . o If general , non-bargaining unit employees , under the purview of the County Administrator, receive a cost-of- living increase , anniversary/merit increase , or lump sum anniversary payment for FY 2010/2011 , then bargaining unit employees will receive their anniversary/merit increases or lump sum payment for FY 2010/2011 in accordance with the current collective bargaining agreement , The County will reinstate ten positions that were slated for elimination in the FY 2010/201. 1 budget. o If it is determined that furloughs are needed to balance the budget due to projected shortfalls , the County agrees to discuss the implementation of a furlough program with the union. a Bargaining unit employees and the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners must vote to ratify this Memorandum of Agreement . This Memorandum of Agreement shall have no effect upon any other provisions of the collective bargaining agreement and is only applicable to FY 2010/2011 . Agreed this 5r"A day of C.=y be r , 2010 .
