HomeMy WebLinkAbout1986-77V 11/18/86 pnot2 LR -Planning RS/vh ORDINANCE NO. 86-77 AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FOR THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning request; and WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning is in conformance with the Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has held a public hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in /00 i interest and citizens were heard, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of the following described property situated in Indian River County, Florida, to -wit: Parcel 1: From the southwest corner of section 4, Township 33 South, Range 39 East, Indian River County, Florida, run east along the south line of Section 4 a distance of 80 feet to a point on the east right-of-way line of Lateral "B" right-of-way; thence continue east along the same line a distance of 288 feet to the point of beginning of the parcel herein described: Thence run north 280 feet, thence run east 319 feet, thence run south 280 feet; thence run west 319 feet to the point of beginning. Parcel 2: All of tract 11 lying south of the Main Relief Canal, all of tracts 14 and 15, and the east 20 acres and the south 635 feet of the west 665 feet of tract 16, in Section 4, Township 33 South, Range 39 East, as shown on the plat of Indian River Farms Company Subdivision filed in the office of the -clerk of circuit court of St. Lucie County, Florida in plat book 2, page 2.5; said land now lying and being in Indian River County, Florida. Be changed from A-1, Agricultural District, and RS -6, Single -Family Residential District, to RS -3, Single -Family Residential District.
