HomeMy WebLinkAbout1986-648/22/86 pno t LR -Planning RS/vh ORDINANCE NO. 86-64 AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FOR THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning request; and WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property, and WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning is in conformance with the Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County, and WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has held a public hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in interest and citizens were heard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of the following described property situated in Indian River County, Florida, to -wit: All that part of the southwest of the southwest $ of Section 4, Township 33 South, Range 39 East, lying south of the Main Canal, as shown by unnumbered tract marked "Copeland" on plat of Indian River Farms recorded on page 25 of Plat Book 2, Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida; LESS AND EXCEPT the parcel described as follows, From the southwest corner of Section 4, Township 33 south, Range 39 East, Indian River County, Florida, run east along the south line of Section 4 a distance of 80 feet to a point on the east right-of-way line of Lateral "B" right-of-way; thence continues east along the same line a distance of 288 feet to the Point of Beginning of the parcel herein described; thence run north 280 feet; thence run east 319 feet; thence run south 280 feet; thence run west 319 feet to the Point of Beginning; and LESS AND EXCEPT the west 80 feet thereof being the right-of-way for Lateral "B" Canal, and, LESS AND EXCEPT the south 30 feet thereof being the right-of-way for Rosewood Road (16th Street), Said land now lying and being in Indian River County, Florida, and containing 26.235 acres, more or less.
