ORDINANCE N0. 87 - 38
AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA
ESTABLISHING BOUNDARIES FOR THE 650 ACRE
COMMERCIAL/ INDUSTRIAL NODE LOCATED AT THE
INTERSECTION OF INTERSTATE 95 AND COUNTY ROAD
512 AS GENERALLY DESCRIBED IN THE TEXT OF THE
LAND USE ELEMENT AND DEPICTED ON THE LAND USE
MAP OF THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE COUNTY'S
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; PROVIDING FOR THE BOUNDARY
MAP, REPEAL OF ORDINANCE NO. 86-8 AND EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian
River County, Florida have amended the County's Comprehensive
Plan to provide for establishing boundaries for every commer-
cial, commercial/industrial, industrial, tourist/commercial,
and hospital/commercial node; and
WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission has held a
public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation to
establish boundaries for this node; and,
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has held a
public hearing on these proposed boundaries at which parties
in interest and citizens had an opportunity to be heard; and,
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners is empowered
to adopt these boundaries to assist in the implementation of
the County's Comprehensive Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County
Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that:
SECTION 1
The attached map labeled as "Attachment A" shall be the
official boundaries of the 650 acre Commercial/Industrial Node
located at the intersection of I-95 and County Road 512.

SECTION 2
Ordinance No. 86-8 which established boundaries for the
240 acre commercial/industrial node located at the
intersection of I-95 and County Road 512 is hereby repealed in
its entirety.
EFFECTIVE DATE
The provisions of this ordinance shall become effective
upon receipt from the Florida Secretary of State of official
acknowledgment that this ordinance has been filed with the
Department of State.
Approved and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners
of Indian River County, Florida on the Jath day of May
1987.
