ORDINANCE NO, 87- 9
AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY
REPEALING ORDINANCE 86-601 WHICH
ESTABLISHED THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY
PUBLIC LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD; AND
PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of
Indian River County finds it to be in the public interest to
establish public advisory boards by Resolution rather than
by Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has
established the Public Library Advisory Board by Resolution
86-104 with the intent of repealing Indian River County
Ordinance 86-60;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of
County Commissioners of Indian River County that Indian
River County Ordinance 86-60, establishing the Indian River
County Public Library Advisory Board, is hereby repealed.
.Th.is Ordinance shall become effective upon receipt
from the Secretary of State of the State of Florida of
official acknowledgment that this Ordinance has been filed
with the Department of State.
Approved and adopted by the Board of County
Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, on this 13th
day of. January 19870
This Ordinance was advertised in the Vero Beach
Press -Journal on the 20th dayof December 1986, for

a public hearing to .be held on the 13th day of
January 1987, at which time it was moved for

adoption by Commissioner Bird . seconded by
Commissioner Bowman , and adopted by the following
vote:
