AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE
ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM RS -6 TO
RM -6, FOR THE PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF
S.R. AlA, NORTH OF THE TOWN OF INDIAN RIVER SHORES AND SOUTH
OF THE GRAND HARBOR BEACH CLUB, AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND
PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the
local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing
and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning
request; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River
County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to
rezone the hereinafter described property; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that
Indian River County, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public
hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in
interest and citizens were heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County
Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the zoning of
the following described property situated in Indian River County,
Florida, to -wit:
The South 500 feet of Government lot 3 as measured along the
East right-of-way of State Road AlA and lying East of said
right-of-way in Section 25, Township 31 South, Range 39 East.
Together with the North 145.02 feet Government Lot 1 lying
East of State Road AlA right-of-way Section 36, Township 31
South, Range 39 East, all being and lying in Indian River
County, Florida.
Be changed from RS -6 to RM -6.
All with the meaning and intent and as set forth and described in
said Land Development Regulations.

ORDINANCE NO. 93- 31
Approved and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Indian River County, Florida, on this 2nd day of November, 1993.
This ordinance was advertised in the Vero Beach Press -Journal
on the 13th day of October, 1993 for a public hearing to be held on
the 2nd day of November, 1993 at which time it was moved for
adoption by Commissioner Eggert , seconded by Commissioner
Tippin , and adopted by the following vote:
