HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-11ORDINANCE NO, 99- 1 1 HEREIN,AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM RS -1 TO CON -1 FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF 8 TH STREET AND INDIAN RIVER BOULEVARD; AND FROM RS- I TO CON -1, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED WEST OF ST, CHRISTOPHER'S HARBOR SUBDIVISION AND DESCRIBED PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE, WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning request; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did publish its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in interest and citizens were heard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the zoning of the following described property situated in Indian River County, Florida, to -wit: The South one-half of Government Lots 7 and 8, Section 7, Township 33 South, Range 40 East, Indian River County, Florida, LESS AND EXCEPT that parcel described in Official Record Book 719, Page 76, Public Records of Indian River County, Florida. Part of an island lying west of Government Lot 3 as described in Deed Book 82, Page 531 and Record Book 100, Page 198, Public Records of Indian River County, Florida. Together with Part of an island lying west of Government Lot 4 as described in Deed Book 81, Page 583 and Record Book 100, Page 198, Public Records of Indian River County, Florida.
