COMMISSIONER MASSEY ASKED, "WHY DOES FIRE CONTROL
RAISE THE COST OF WATER SYSTEMS BY 3077"
DR. SMITH STATED, "IT INCREASES COST OF SUPPLYING
STORAGE, VOLUME AND PIPE SIZES."
DR. SMITH THEN PRESENTED THE VARIOUS OPTIONS SHOWING
HOW SUBAREAS COULD BE DEVELOPED. THESE OPTIONS ARE BEING MADE
A PART OF THESE MINUTES.

CHAIRMAN LOY ASKED, "WOULD YOU HAVE TO MAKE A MORE
IN-DEPTH STUDY TO MAKE PRIORITIES?"
MR. BEINDORF STATED, "YES."
COMMISSIONER SIEBERT STATED, "I AM STILL NOT SURE
WE WANT TO SEWER THE COUNTY."
DR. SMITH STATED, "WE CAN SIZE THE PIPE FOR GROWTH
FOR 5, 10, 15 OR 20 YEARS."
COMMISSIONER SIEBERT ASKED, "WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP -
GET TOGETHER WITH THE CITY OF VERO BEACH?"
COMMISSIONER BOGOSIAN ASKED, "WOULD THE F.H.A. LOAN
BE REDUCED BY THE SIZE OF THE PROGRAM?"
MR. BEINDORF ANSWERED, "YES."
COMMISSIONER BOGOSIAN STATED THAT HE FIGURES WE SHOULD
GET STARTED ON SOMETHING.
CHAIRMAN Loy STATED THAT AS SOON AS THE ENGINEERS ARE
READY, COULD WE MEET.- ABOUT OCTOBER 1ST, 1973,
.JACK STINSON ASKED, "IF THE CALIFORNIA
PLAN FOR AD VALOREM TAXATION ON AGRICULTRUAL PROPERTY MIGHT BE
USED,AS A BASE FOR FINANCING THE SEWER AND WATER PROGRAM?"
COMMISSIONER SIEBERT STATED THAT SOME OF US ARE LOOKING
INTO THIS.
