AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUN�, FLORIDA, AMENDING
THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR APPROXIMATELY 587.14 ACRES OF
LAND GENERALLY SOUTH OF SR 60, NORTH OF 8TH STREET,
BETWEEN 66TH AVENUE AND 82ND AVENUE; AND DESCRIBED HEREIN;
MAINTAINING THE EXISTING PD ZONING, BUT MODIFYING THE PD
CONCEPTUAL PLAN AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency
on such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding
this rezoning request; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did
publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning is
consistent with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County and the county land
development regulations, including but not limited to the Planned Development (PD) Process
and Standards for Development chapter; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public hearing pursuant to
this rezoning request, at which parties in interest and citizens were heard;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County Commissioners of
Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of the property situated in Indian River County,
and described in EXHIBIT A (attached) be maintained as PD, but that the PD conceptual plan
be modified as in EXHIBIT B, attached, which will control and regulate development on the
subject land.
All with the meaning and intent as set forth in the land development regulations, and the
approved conceptual plan as may be amended pursuant to the provisions of the Planned
regulations.

This ordinance was advertised in the Vero Beach Press -Journal on the 3rd day of
Jul Y , 2003, for a public hearing to be held on the 15th day of Jul Y 2003, at
which time it was moved for adoption by Commissioner. Lowther , seconded
by Commissioner Ginn , and adopted by the following vote;

The Chairman thereupon declared the ordinance duly passed and adopted this
