HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-030ORDINANCE NO. 2000- 030 AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM CL TO PD FOR APPROXIMATELY 0.52 ACRES OF LAND GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF 45TH STREET, JUST EAST OF 34TH COURT; AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning request; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning, is consistent with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County, and the county land development regulations, including but not limited to the Planned Development (PD) Process and Standards for Development chapter; and WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, in conjunction with the rezoning request has approved a PD conceptual plan (see EXHIBIT B, attached) that controls and regulates development on the subject land; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in interest and citizens were heard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of the property situated in Indian River County, and legally described in EXHIBIT A (attached) be changed from CL to PD (up to 6 units/acre). u\d\ord\habitat for humanity ord Page 1 of 3 A1TAC MM 4 0 In Ph ORDINANCE NO, 2000- 030 All with the meaning and intent as set forth in the land development regulations, and the approved conceptual plan as may be amended pursuant to the provisions of the Planned regulations. This ordinance was advertised in the Vero Beach Press -Journal on the 30th day of A„guSt , 2000, for a public hearing to be held on the 1 2t -h day of September 2000, at which time it was moved for adoption by Commissioner Macht , seconded by Commissioner Gi nn , and adopted by the following vote; The ordinance was adopted by a vote of : Chairman Fran B.
