AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING
ORDINANCE AND ZONING MAP FOR APPROXIMATELY ± 19171.45 ACRES OWNED BY
THE ST. JOHNS RIVER WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT (SJRWMD) (±531.68 ACRES
LOCATED SOUTH OF CITY OF FELLSMERE AND 3 '/2 MILES NORTH OF S.R. 60, AND
±639.77 ACRES LOCATED 1 '/2 MILES NORTH OF S.R. 60 AND 3 MILES WEST OF I-95)9
FROM A-2, AGRICULTURAL -2 DISTRICT (UP TO 1 UNIT /10 ACRES), TO CON49
CONSERVATION -1 DISTRICT (ZERO DENSITY); AND TO REZONE ±350 ACRES OWNED
BY INDIAN RIVER COUNTY LOCATED WEST OF BLUE CYPRESS LAKE AND
APPROXIMATELY 6 '/Z MILES NORTH OF S.R. 60, FROM A-3, AGRICULTURAL -3

WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency
on such matters, held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this
rezoning request; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did
publish its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners determined that this rezoning is in
conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing pursuant to this
rezoning request, at which part

Approved and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida,
on this 17 day of July , 2012.
This ordinance was advertised in the Press -Journal on the 3rd day ofJulY , 2012, for a public
hearing to be held on thel7th day of July , 2012, at which time it was moved for adoption by
Commissioner O'Bryan seconded by Commissioner Solari , and adopted
by the following vote:
