HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-024 RESOLUTION NO. 2005-024 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, DISSOLVING THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PRIMARY CARE/PUBLIC HEALTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE. WHEREAS, Resolution 2004-135 established the Indian River County Primary Care/Public Health Advisory Committee; and WHEREAS, the Primary Care/Public Health Advisory Committee was given the duty to assist the Board of County Commissioners concerning the primary health care needs of the children and families in Indian River County; and WHEREAS, the Primary Care/Public Health Advisory Committee has carefully weighed the benefits of becoming an independent Committee and has voted to become an independent committee; and WHEREAS, the Primary Care/Public Health Advisory Committee has requested that Resolution 2004-135 establishing the Primary Care/Public Health Advisory Committee be rescinded; and ' WHEREAS, the Board wishes to express its sincere appreciation to all past and present Committee members for their hours of volunteer work and congratulate them on their many accomplishments. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: 1. The Indian River County Primary Care/Public Health Advisory Committee is hereby dissolved. The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner 'Neuberger and the motion was seconded by Commissioner ; Davis- , and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: Chairman Thomas S.
