A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2004-2005 BUDGET.
WHEREAS, certain appropriation and expenditure amendments to the
adopted Fiscal Year 2004-2005 Budget are to be made by resolution pursuant to
section 129.06(2)(x)-(e), Florida Statutes (2004); and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County
desires to amend the fiscal year 2004-2005 budget, as more specifically set forth
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Fiscal Year
2004-2005 Budget be and hereby is amended as set forth in Exhibit "A" upon
adoption of this Resolution.
This Resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner
Davis _, and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Neuberger ,
and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows:

Subject: Miscellaneous Budget Amendment 014
Description and Conditions
The attached budget amendment appropriates funding necessary for the following:
1. .The Indian River County Veteran's Council had a fundraising event at the Shooting Range,
which was held to raise funds necessary for the purchase of new office equipment and
furnishings. The attached entry appropriates funding for rental of the facility in the amount of
$1,000 from General Fund Contingencies.
2. On June 7, 2005, the Board of Commissioner approved mediation costs for the Super Dip
Cafe Hurricane Frances billing. The attached entry appropriates funding for this mediation in
the amount of$2,500 from General Fund Contingencies.
3. On March 29, 2005, the Board of Commissioners approved support for World Changers. The
attached entry appropriates funding from General Fund Contingencies in the amount of
$20,000.
4. Three County parks have lighting damage from Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne in the
amount of$505,525. The attached entry appropriates funding from insurance proceeds.
5. More County meetings including Planning and Zoning are televised this year which was not
budgeted. The additional costs for televising these meetings are $10,000. The attached
entry appropriates funding from General Fund Contingencies.
6. Vehicle and equipment replacements required by Parks Department and Building and
Grounds Department in the amount of $68,350. The attached entry appropriates funding for
these vehicles from General Fund Half-Cent Sales Tax.
Staff Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Board of Commissioners approve the attached budget resolution
amending the Fiscal Year 2004/05 budget.
