A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE FISCAL YEAR 2003-2004 BUDGET.
WHEREAS, certain appropriation and expenditure amendments to the
adopted Fiscal Year 2003-2004 Budget are to be made by resolution pursuant to
section 129.06(2)(a) -(e), Florida Statutes (2002); and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County
desires to amend the fiscal year 2003-2004 budget, as more specifically set forth
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Fiscal Year
2003-2004 Budget be and hereby is amended as set forth in Exhibit "A" upon
adoption of this Resolution.
This Resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner
Adams , and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Lowther
and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows:

Subject: Miscellaneous Budget Amendment 005
Description and Conditions
The attached budget amendment appropriates funding necessary for the following:
1. Indian River County libraries have received donations totaling $17,210. The attached entry
appropriates these donated funds.
2. The fiscal year 2002/03 budget included funding in the amount of $75,000 for Murphy Act
reservation mapping and $22,000 for digital aerial photography for the GIS system. The
attached entry rolls the unexpended funds to the current year.
3 General accounting practices require that some renewal and replacement (R&R) costs are
recorded as expenses. The attached entry makes the necessary budget adjustment for this
accounting of expenses in the Utility Department.
4. The Florida Department of Labor has invoiced the county for unemployment compensation
claims in various departments. The attached entry appropriates funding.
Staff Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Board of Commissioners approve the attached budget resolution
amending the fiscal year 2003/04 budget.
