RESOLUTION NO. 2002- 038
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
FLORIDA, APPROVING THE GRANT OF AN
EASEMENT TO FLORIDA POWER AND LIGHT
COMPANY ALONG SIDE THE NORTH COUNTY
PARK ENTRANCE ROAD.
WHEREAS, Florida Power and Light Company currently has an overhead
electrical power line on the North County Park site leased from the State of Florida;
and
WHEREAS, Indian River County is desirous of relocating the overhead
electrical power line from a parking lot area to a location adjacent and parallel to its
entrance road; and
WHEREAS, the State of Florida has requested a resolution from Indian River
County approving the easement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that it approves the grant
of an easement by the State of Florida to Florida Power and Light Company at the
location described and shown on the attached Exhibit "A".
The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Macht , and the
motion was seconded by Commissioner Ginn , and, upon being put to a vote,
the vote was as follows:

FLORIDA POWER AND LIGHT EASEMENT
An easement whose sidelines lie 7.50 feet equally on each side of the following described line:
Commence at D.O.T. Baseline Station 241+91.83, marking station 10+00 Baseline "A" as shown
on Sheet GL-7 of the Geometric Layout Plan of North County Park prepared by Brad Smith
Associates and dated August 13, 2001, and run
S 89'42'32" E, along the D.O.T. baseline, a distance of 42.50 feet to a point, it being the
POINT OF BEGINNING of a line marking the centerline of a 15—foot wide Florida Power and Light
easement. Then run
N 0'21 '52" E, parallel with Baseline "A" previously noted, a distance of 167..40 feet to a
point of curve of a 964.50—foot radius curve, concave to the east. Then run
Along the curve, through a central angle of 8'21'01", an arc distance of 140.57 feet to
a point of tangency. Then run
N 8'42'53" E, 42.50 feet distant from, measured normal to, Baseline "A", a distance of
236.03 feet to a point of curve of a 477.50—foot radius curve, concave to the West. Then run
Along the curve, through a central angle of 20'37'59", an arc distance of 171.95 feet to
a point of compound curve of a curve concave to the southwest. Then run N
Along the curve, through a central angle of 17'04'57", an arc distance of 275.41 feet to 0
a point of tongency lying 42.50 feet distant from, measured normal to Baseline "A". Then run .2
