HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-077RESOLUTION NO. 2005- 077 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING FEES FOR REVIEWING IMPACT FEE INDIVIDUAL ASSESSMENT APPLICATIONS AND FOR PROCESSING IMPACT FEE REFUND APPLICATIONS. WHEREAS, Indian River County has approved Title X, Impact Fees, of the Code of Indian River County establishing 9 impact fees; and WHEREAS, Title X provides that individuals who are not in agreement with impact fee payment schedule fees for any of the impact fees have the option to prepare an individual assessment of impact of their project on county facilities and services, according to the methodology identified by the county; and WHEREAS, Title X provides for a refund of impact fees if building permits or initial -1 concurrency certificates associated with a project are revoked, expired, or withdrawn, or if impact fees are not used within 6 years and a request for refund is submitted by the applicant; and WHEREAS, processing an impact fee individual assessment application or an impact fee refund application requires staff time and cost. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT: Section 1. The above recitals are ratified in their entirety. Section 2. The Board of County Commissioners, hereby, establishes the following fees: - Impact Fee Individual Assessment Application Review Fee (For Section 1000.08(3) and Section 1010.03(2) of Title X of the Code of Indian River County) $2,000.00 ,yL - Impact Fee Refund Fee RESOLUTION NO. 2005- 077 $200.00 For Each Single Family Unit $200.00 for Non Residential Projects and Multi -Family Proj ects The forgoing Resolution was offered by Commissioner Neuberger and seconded by Commissioner Wh ee l er and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: Chairman, Thomas S.
