HomeMy WebLinkAbout2009-060RESOLUTION NO. 2009 -060 A RESOLUTION OF INDI.AN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, RELEASING A PORTION OF AN EASEMENT ON LOT 9, LAURELWOOD SUBDIVISION UNIT 1 WHEREAS, Indian River County has a utility easement on Lot 9 of Laurelwood Subdivision Unit l; and WHEREAS, the retention of a portion of the easement, as described below, serves no public purpose; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida that: INDIAN RIVER COUNTY DOES HEREBY RELEASE and abandon all right, title, and interest that it may have in the following described easement portion: the northwest 35 square feet of a five foot utility easement on the southeast portion of Lot 9, Laurelwood Unit 1, such 35 square feet running seven feet north -south and five feet east -west, less and except any portion of the south ten (10).foot drainage and utility easement and east seven and half (7.5) foot drainage and utility easement on Lot 9, Laurelwood Unit 1, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 9, Page 29 of the Public Records of Indian River County, Florida. This release of easement is executed by Indian River County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, whose mailing address is 1801 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960. THIS RESOLUTION was moved for adoption by Commissioner 0' Bryan seconded by Commissioner FleSCher , and adopted on the 12th day of y %Y 2009, by the following vote: Chairman Wesley S.
