A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, RELEASING
AN EASEMENT RETAINED OVER AN ABANDONED PORTION OF 88TH
COURT (A.K.A. 118TH AVENUE) SOUTH OF 22ND STREET IN PARADISE
PARK SUBDIVISION UNIT 2
WHEREAS, Indian River County has an interest in a drainage and utility easement retained
over an abandoned portion of 88th Court (a.k.a. 118th Avenue) south of 22nd Street in Paradise
Park Subdivision Unit 2, said right-of-way having been abandoned and said easement retained in
accordance with Indian River County Resolution 90-160; and
WHEREAS, the retention of the easement, or portion thereof, as described below, serves no
public purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian
River County, Florida, in consideration of a new ten -foot wide replacement easement recorded in
Official Record Book 1548, Page 0768 of the Public Records of Indian River County, Florida, that:
This release of easement is executed by Indian River County, a political subdivision of the State
of Florida, whose mailing address is 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960, Grantor, to
ANNE M. (BOYER) STRICKLAND

VERO BEACH,'FL 32966
her successors in interest, heirs and assigns, as Grantee, as follows:
Indian River County does hereby release and abandon all right, title, and interest that it may
have in the following described easement(s):
that portion of a seventy-foot wide drainage and utility easement lying between Lot 1, Block R and
Lot 4, Block W, of Paradise Park Unit 2, according to the plat recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 77 of
the Public Records of Indian River County, said easement as retained over an abandoned portion
of 88th Court (a.k.a. 118th Avenue) right-of-way per Indian River County Resolution 90-160,
recorded in Official Record Book 0886, Page 1379, of the Public Records of Indian River County,
Florida.
THIS RESOLUTION was moved for adoption by Commissioner Adams , seconded
by Commissioner
Ginn , and adopted on the 4th
February 2003, by the following vote:
