A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, RELEASING
CERTAIN EASEMENTS IN W. E. GEOFFREYS SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, Indian River County has an interest in certain easements in W.E. Geoffreys Subdivision;
and
WHEREAS, the retention of those easements, as described below, serves no public purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River
County, Florida that:
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY DOES HEREBY RELEASE and abandon all right, title, and interest
that it may have in the following described easements:
a 20 foot wide drainage and utility easement retained over a portion of abandoned 19th Avenue
right -o/ -way per Indian River County Resolution 87-44, recorded in O.R. Book 0769, Page 2242, Public
Records of Indian River County, more particularly described as the east 20 feet of the (abandoned) 40
foot right-of-way lying west of Lots 185 and 200, Block 14, W.E. Geoffreys Subdivision, according to the
plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 32, of the Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida, such
land now lying in Indian River County, Florida; and
a 750 square foot utility easement in the southeast corner of Lot 199, Block 14, W.E. Geoffreys
Subdivision, such easement running 25 feet east and west, and 30 feet north and south, established by
reservation in a County Deed from Indian River County to Xiujuan Enterprises, LLC, recorded in O.R.
Book 1518, Page 2583, of the Public Records of Indian River County Florida.
This release of easements is executed by Indian River County, a political subdivision of the State of
Florida, whose mailing address is 1801 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960.
THIS RESOLUTION was moved for adoption by Commissioner O'Bryan seconded by
Commissioner Flescher and adopted on the 24th day of
March 2009, by the following vote:
Chairman Wesley S. Davis AYE
Vice -Chairman Joseph E. Flescher AYE
Commissioner Gary C. Wheeler AYE
Commissioner Peter D. O'Bryan AYE

The Chairman declared the resolution duly passed and adopted this 24th .day of
