RESOLUTION 2004- 133
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN
RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE AMENDED AND RESTATED
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT CREATING THE TREASURE COAST REGIONAL
PLANNING COUNCIL,.
WHEREAS, Indian River County, St. Lucie County, Martin County, and Palm Beach County, in
1976, entered into an interlocal agreement to create the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council: and
WHEREAS, that interlocal agreement still remains in force and effect; and
WHEREAS, the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council recently requested that each of the
signatories of the original agreement approve a restated and amended interlocal agreement that would
allow the Council to incur debt and acquire real property; and
WHEREAS, the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners has determined that the
agreement, as proposed, will benefit the Council and have no adverse impact on the County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED THAT THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY approve the amended and restated Interlocal
Agreement creating the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council and authorize the Chairman to
execute the amended and restated agreement.
The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner Lowther who moved its
adoption. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Ginn , and upon being put to a
vote, the vote was as follows:

Commissioner Fran Adams Aye
Commissioner Thomas S. Lowther Aye
Commissioner Kenneth R. Macht Nay
