A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER
COUNTY, FLORIDA, CANCELLING
CERTAIN TAXES UPON PUBLICLY OWNED
LANDS, PURSUANT TO SECTION 196.28,
FLORIDA STATUTES.
WHEREAS, section 196.28, Florida Statutes, allows the Board of
County Commissioners of each County to cancel and discharge any and all liens
for taxes, delinquent or current, held or owned by the county or the state, upon
lands heretofore or hereafter conveyed to or acquired by any agency,
governmental subdivision, or municipality of the state, or the United States, for
road purposes, defense purposes, recreation, reforestation, or other public use;
and
WHEREAS, such cancellation must be by resolution of the Board of
County Commissioners, duly adopted and entered upon its minutes properly
describing such lands and setting fort
h the public use to which the same are or
will be devoted; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of a certified copy of such resolution, proper
officials of the county and of the state are authorized, empowered, and directed
to make proper entries upon the records to accomplish such cancellation and to
do all things necessary to carry
out the provisions of section 196.28, F.S.;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
FLORIDA, that:
Any and all liens for taxes delinquent or current against the following
described lands, which were purchased through the Neighborhood Stabilization
Program from Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation by the Indian River
County Housing Authority are hereby cancelled pursuant to the authority of
section 196.28, F.S.
See attached Special Warranty Deed describing
lands, recorded in Book 2571 at Page 1182, Public
Records of Indian River County, Florida.
The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner O'Bryan ,and
the motion was seconded by Commissioner Flescher

office address is: 5000 Plano Parkway, Mail Stop SW, Carrollton, TX 75010 hereinafter called the GRANTOR, to Indian River
County Housing Authority, a Public Body Corporate and Political whose post office address is: 1021 Beachland Blvd., Vero
Beach, Florida 32963 hereinafter called the GRANTEE:
(Wherever used herein the terms "GRANTOR" and "GRANTEE" include all the parties to this instrument and the heirs, legal
representatives and assigns of individuals, and the successors and assigns of corporations.)
WITNESSETH: That the GRANTOR, for and in consideration of the sum of $10.00 and other valuable considerations, receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, hereby grants, bargains, sells, aliens, remises, releases, conveys and confirms unto the GRANTEE,

assessments for the year 2012 and subsequent years; and to all applicable zoning ordinances and/or restrictions and prohibitions
imposed by governmental authorities, if any,
TOGETHER with all the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging or in anywise appert
aining.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, the same in fee simple forever.
AND THE GRANTOR hereby covenants with said GRANTEE that it is lawfully seized of said land in fee simple; that it has good,
right and lawful authority to sell and convey said land; that it hereby fully warrants the title to said land and will defend the same
against the lawful claims of all persons claiming by, through or under the said GRANTOR.
