RESOLUTION NO. 2012- 050
A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER
COUNTY, FLORIDA, CANCELLING
CERTAIN TAXES UPON PUBLICLY OWNED
LANDS, PURSUANT TO SECTION 196.28,
FLORIDA STATUTES.
WHEREAS, section 196.28, Florida Statutes, allows the Board of
County Commissioners of each County to cancel and discharge any and all liens
for taxes, delinquent or current, held or owned by the county or the state, upon
lands heretofore or hereafter conveyed to or acquired by any agency,
governmental subdivision, or municipality of the state, or the United States, for
road purposes, defense purposes, recreation, reforestation, or other public use;
and
WHEREAS, such cancellation must be by resolution of the Board of
County Commissioners, duly adopted and entered upon its minutes properly
describing such lands and setting forth the public use to which the same are or
will be devoted; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of a certified copy of such resolution, proper
officials of the county and of the state are authorized, empowered, and directed
to make proper entries upon the records to accomplish such cancellation and to
do all things necessary to carry out the provisions of section 196.28, F.S.;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
FLORIDA, that:
Any and all liens for taxes delinquent or current against the following
described lands, which were purchased through the Neighborhood Stabilization
Program by the Indian River County Housing Authority and thereafter quit-
claimed to Indian River County for the purpose of continuing with affordable
housing/Neighborhood Stabilization Program (Indian River County Ordinance
No. 2012-006) are hereby cancelled pursuant to the authority of section 196.28,
F.S.
See attached Corrective Quit -Claim Deed
describing lands, recorded in Book 2572 at Page
543, Public Records of Indian River County,
Florida.
The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner Davis , and
the motion was seconded by Commissioner Flescher , and, upon being put to
a vote, the vote was as follows:

QUIT CLAIM DEED
*This Corrective Quit Claim Deed corrects the month of conveyance in that certain Quit Claim Deed recorded in Book 2569, Page 1397 (corrects
the month from March to April).
Effective the 13th day of April, 2012, by The Indian River County Housing Authority, a public body corporate and
politic pursuant to Chapter 421, Florida Statutes, hereinafter called grantor, to Indian River County, a political
subdivision of the state of Florida, hereinafter called grantee, whose post office address is: 1801 27`h Street, Vero
Beach, Florida 32960.
(Wherever used herein, the terms "grantor" and "grantee" shall include singular and plural, heirs, legal
representatives, and assigns of individuals, and the successors and assigns of corporations, wherever the context so
admits or requires.)
Witnesseth, That grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of $10.00 and/or other valuable consideration, the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hereby remises, releases and quit claims unto grantee, all the right, title,
interest, claim and demand which said grantor has in and to the following described land, situate in County of Indian
River, State of Florida, to -wit:
Lot 15, Block J, Stevens Park Unit No. 1, Plat Book 4, Page 53, As recorded in Indian River County,
Florida.
To have and to hold the same together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise
appertaining, and all the estate, right, title, interest, lien, equity and claim whatsoever of grantor, either in law or
equity, to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of grantee forever.
