A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
COUNTY, FLORIDA, REVISING FEES FOR PROCESSING IMPACT
APPLICATIONS.
WHEREAS, in May, 2005, Indian River County approved Title X, Impact Fees, of the Code of
Indian River County establishing 9 impact fees; and
WHEREAS, Title X provides for a refund of impact fees if building permits or initial -1
concurrency certificates associated with a project are revoked, expired, or withdrawn, or if impact
fees are not used within 6 years and a request for refund is submitted by the applicant; and
WHEREAS, processing an impact fee refund application requires staff time and cost; and
WHEREAS, the County, m May, 2005, set the impact fee refund application fee amount at $200;
WHEREAS, County staff recently estimated the County's cost of processing an impact fee
refund at approximately $75; an
d
WHEREAS, the County may adopt fees to recover the costs of processing applications pursuant
to section 102.10(3) of the County Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMNIISSIONERS
OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1.
The above recitals are ratified in their entirety.
Section 2.
The Board of County Commissioners, hereby, revises the following fees:

The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly passed and adopted on this 16th day of Aum
2011. This resolution will become effective upon signature by the Chairman of the Board of County
Commissioners.
