Approved acceptance of the ,State -Funded Vub-grant Agreement
ftom the Department of Community Affairs for $2.5 million to
assist with the construction of the Emergency Operations Center
(EOE) and authorized the Chairman to execute the agreement.
The facility must be designed and constructed to withstand 200
iriph wind gusts, resist penetration by windborne debris and have a
finish floor exceeding the 500 -year flood elevation. The EOE'
must also be designedfor a minimum of 72 hours of continuous
operation. The design firm of Donadio and Associates are aware
of the grant requirements.
