SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT
The Board of Commissioners of the Solid Waste Disposal District met at the County
Commission Chambers, 1801 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, October 9, 2007.
Present were Chairman Gary C. Wheeler, Vice Chair Sandra L. Bowden, Commissioners Wesley
S. Davis, Joseph E. Flescher, and Peter D. O'Bryan. Also present were County Administrator
Joseph A. Baird, Assistant County Attorney William DeBraal, and Deputy Clerk Leona Adair
Allen.
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 10:29 a.m.
14.B.1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES — REGULAR MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 4, 2007
ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED by
Commissioner Flescher, the Board unanimously approved
the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of September 4, 2007,
as written.
14.B.2. CANCEL 2007 PETITION HEARING — SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT
ASSESSMENT FEES
ON MOTION by Vice Chair Bowden, SECONDED by
Commissioner Flescher, the Board approved the
cancellation of the SWDD Petition Hearing scheduled for
October 9, 2007

October 9, 2007, as recommended in the memorandum of
September 27, 2007.
ALL BACKUP DOCUMENTATION IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK
TO THE BOARD AND IS HEREBY MADE A PART OF THESE MINUTES
There being no further business, on Motion duly made, seconded and carried, the Board
adjourned at 10:30 a.m.
