EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT
The District Board of Commissioners of the Emergency Services District met at the
th
County Commission Chambers, 1840 25 Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday,
January 13, 2004. Present were Caroline D. Ginn, Chairman; Arthur R. Neuberger, Vice
Chairman; Commissioners Fran B. Adams; Thomas S. Lowther, and Kenneth R. Macht.
Also present were Joseph A. Baird, Acting County Administrator; William G. Collins, II,
Deputy County Attorney; Kimberly Massung, Executive Aide to the Board; and Patricia
Ridgely, Deputy Clerk.
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 10:21 a.m.
14.A.1. RESOLUTION NO. 2004-001 ESD - FY 2003/04 EMS
COUNTY AWARDS GRANT – PURCHASE OF
CAPITAL/OPERATING EQUIPMENT USING NON-MATCHING
EMS GRANT FUNDS AND GRANT RESOLUTION
ON MOTION MADE by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED
by Commissioner Lowther, the Board unanimously adopted
Resolution No. 2004-001 ESD authorizing the application for
funding county emergency medical services (EMS) grant
awards to be submitted to the State of Florida Department of
Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services.

There being no further business, on Motion duly made, seconded, and carried, the
