EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT
The District Board of Commissioners of the Emergency Services District met at the
County Commission Chambers, 1840 25tH Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday,
January 2, 2001, at 9:58 a.m. Present were Caroline D. Ginn, Chairman; Ruth M.
Stanbridge, Vice Chairman; Kenneth R. Macht; Fran B. Adams; and John W. Tippin.
Also present were James Chandler, County Administrator; Paul G. Bangel, County
Attorney; and Patricia "PJ" Jones, Deputy Clerk.
The Chairman called the meeting to order.
14.A.1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - OCTOBER 10, 2000
The Chairman asked if there were any corrections or additions to the Minutes of the
Regular Meeting of October 10, 2000. There were none.

Meeting of October 10, 2000, as written.
14.A.2. TEAMSTERS LOCAL 769
(PARAMEDICS) COLLECTIVE
BARGAINING AGREEMENT
The Board reviewed a Memorandum of
December 21, 2000:

ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams,
SECONDED by Commissioner Macht, the Board
unanimously approved the EMS Contract,
Collective Bargaining Agreement between
Teamsters Local #769 (Paramedics) and Indian
River County Emergency Services District, as
recommended by staff.
AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE
OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD
There being no further business, on Motion
duly made, seconded and carried, the Board
adjourned at 9:59 a.m.
