G. Acceptance of Change Order No. 26, for the New County Administration Buildings (memorandum dated April 4, 2007) 36-52 Approved Acceptance of Change Order No. 26, and authorized the Chairman to execute the saine resulting in no change to the GMP, and an increase to the Owner's Contingency in the amount of $4,744. H. Approval of Annual Bid # 2007042 Printing Services for the Recreation Department Brochures (memorandum dated April 3, 2007) 53-61 Approved awarding Bid #2007042 to Countywide Printing, Inc. for annual printing services for the Recreation Department Brochures with a quote of $3,340 for printing 11,000 brochures (a) 20 pages each; $3,887 for printing 11,000 brochures i 24 pages each; and $4,237 for printing 11,000 'a 28 pages each. Change Order #1 for Indian River Drive Sidewalk South between the South City Limits of Sebastian and US1, IRC Project #0201 and IRC Bid #2007027 (memorandum dated April 2, 2007) 62-65 Approved Change Order #1 decreasing the contract amount by $29,212.14 with $207,000 coming from a LAP Grant, Federal Aid Project and the balance of the funding will come from the one -cent Sales Tax General Sidewalk Funding Account in the amount of $227,249.25 with a total cost of $434,249.25. J. Renewal of NEC Maintenance Contract for Courthouse Telephone System (memorandum dated March 28, 2007) 66-70 Approved authorizing the 5 year maintenance agreement with NEC for the Courthouse telephone system to be paid annually based on the annual review of port counts and the fixed $1.60 per port per month pricing. Consideration to Lease Property Adjacent to Fleet Maintenance to the Council on Aging for a Transit Facility (memorandum dated April 2, 2007) 71-72 Approved the concept of leasing property adjacent to Fleet Maintenance to the Council on Aging for a Transit Facility for $1.00 per year with the understanding the staff will bring hack an agreement and resolution for the Board to review and take action as it deems appropriate. L. Millstone Landing PD, 21st Street S.W. Construction (memorandum dated April 2, 2007) 73-77 Approved accepting the lump suin payment of $9,516.25 in lieu of remedial work in the deficient roadway areas, and authorized the Chairman to sign the Agreement For the Contribution of Funds for repairs to 21' Street, SW. 8. Request for Authorization for the Community Development Director to Make Application for a Community Development Block Grant in the Neighborhood Revitalization Category and Request for Authorization to Proceed with Consultant Selection Process (memorandum dated April 2, 2007) 78-90 Legislative Approved Resolution 2007-034 allowing staff to move forward with making application for a Community Development Block Grant in the Neighborhood Revitalization Category and approved the Request for Authorization to Proceed with the consultant selection process. Consideration of the City of Fellsmere's 2007 Comprehensive Plan Amendments (memorandum dated April 4, 2007) 91-106 Approved staff's recommendation to send the amendments along with a letter to Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council emphasizing residential use of the subject property addressed in the proposed Future Land Use Map designation would he incompatible with surrounding uses, but more importantly residential use of the site would frustrate the County's economic development objectives by causing a loss in industrial land which would decrease the employment possibilities. 2. Girard Equipment Inc. 's Request for a Local Jobs Grant (memorandum dated March 30, 2007) 107-128 Approved Girard Equipment, Inc's request for a Local Jobs Grant of up to $7,200 and authorize the Chairman to sign the Joh Grant Agreement. Emergency Services 1. Approval of Addendum to the BellSouth Special Service Agreement (memorandum dated April 3, 2007) 129-148 Approved the addendum to the BellSouth ,S'pecial ,cervices Agreement and authorized the Chairman to execute said agreement. Construction Services Contract (Part 1 Agreement) with Barth Construction for the construction of Indian River County Fire Rescue Station No. 12 (Gifford Community Station) (memorandum dated April 4, 2007) 155-170 Approved the Part 1 Agreement and authorized the Chairman to execute same. After approval of Change Order #1, the adjusted amount of the GMP for renovation and the expansion of Emergency Services Station #2 will he $2,431,117.98.
