COUNTY ACTING AS THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE ROCKRIDGE SUB—
DIVISION STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT MET AT THE COURTHOUSE, VERO
BEACH, FLORIDA, AT 6:03 O'CLOCK P.M. PRESENT WERE WILLARD W.
SIEBERT, .JR., CHAIRMAN; R. DON DEESON, VICE CHAIRMAN; ALMA LEE
Loy, AND PATRICK B. LYONS. ABSENT WAS WILLIAM C. WODTKE, .JR.
ALSO PRESENT WERE GEORGE G. COLLINS, .JR., ATTORNEY TO THE BOARD
OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS; JEFFREY K. BARTON, FINANCE OFFICER; AND
JANICE W. CALDWELL, DEPUTY CLERK.
CHAIRMAN SIEBERT CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCED
THAT THE PURPOSE IS TO ESTABLISH A BUDGET AND MILLAGE FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1979-50; THE MILLAGE BEING .47307, FOR A BUDGET OF
$2,790.
THE HOUR OF 5:01 O'CLOCK P.M. HAVING PASSED, THE DEPUTY
CLERK READ THE FOLLOWING NOTICE WITH PROOF OF PUBLICATION ATTACHED,

NOTICE, IS HEREBY GIVEN thatthe Board
of County Commissioners of Indian River
County, Florida, acting as the Board of
Supervisors of "The Rockridge Subdivision
Street Lighting District" will hold a public
hearing at 5:01 P.M. Thursday, September 27,
1979, in the Indian River County Courthouse in
Vero Beach, Florida, for the adoption of the
1979-80 budget in the amount of $2,790 for Said
District.

RESOLUTION NO. 79-1
ROCKRIDGE STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT
RESOLUTION FOR 1979-1980

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the Rockridge
Street Lighting District has held a public hearing on
September 27, 1979, for the purposes of adopting a budget
for the District for the fiscal year 1979-80; and
WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser has provided the
evaluations of the non-exempt property in said District;
and
WHEREAS, said hearing was noticed by publication and
the needs of the District discussed in open forum;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF THE ROCKRIDGE STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT that the following
Budget is hereby adopted for the District for 1979-80:
1. ESTIMATED RECEIPTS AND BALANCES
Local Sources $ 90.00
Ad Valorem Taxes 2,278.00
Less: 5% per F.S. 129.01 (118.00)
NET $2,250.00
Cash Balance Forward 540.00
(October 1, 1979)
TOTAL ESTIMATED RECEIPTS & BALANCES $2,790.00
2. APPROPRIATIONS:
Operating Expenses $2,590.00
Reserves for Contingencies 200.00
Cash Forward -0-
TOTAL BUDGET $2,790.00
A copy of this Resolution shall be published one (1)
time in a paper of general circulation in this County and
a copy will be forwarded to the Indian River County Board
of County Commissioners.

ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER DEESON, SECONDED BY COMMIS-
SIONER LYONS, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED RESOLUTION No. 79-2
SETTING THE MILLAGE AT .47307.

RESOLUTION NO. 79-2
WHEREAS, the 1979 tax roll has been certified according
to law, and the taxable values have been received by this Board;
and
WHEREAS, this Board did adopt at Public Hearing its
budget for the Fiscal Year commencing on the first day of October,
1979, and ending on the 30th day of September, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the Board must establish millages:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF THE ROCKRIDGE STREET LIGHTING DISTRICT that said Board hereby
sets the millage rate for said District at .47307 mills or 47.307
cents per thousand dollars of taxable value.

This Resolution shall become effective as of the 27th
day of September, 1979.
