ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL BOARD
The Board of Commissioners of the Environmental Control Board met at the
County Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida on Tuesday, July
17, 2001, at 9:32 a.m. Present were Caroline D. Ginn, Chairman; Kenneth R. Macht; John
W. Tippin; and Fran B. Adams. Vice Chairman Ruth M. Stanbridge was absent on
County business. Also present were James Chandler, County Administrator; Paul G.
Bangel, County Attorney; and Patricia "PJ" Jones, Deputy Clerk.
The Chairman called the meeting to order.
14.C.1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - JULY 3, 2001
The Chairman asked if there were any corrections or additions to the Minutes of the
Regular Meeting of July 3, 2001. There were none.
ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by
Commissioner Macht, the Board, by a 4-0 vote (Vice Chairman
Stanbridge absent) unanimously approved the Minutes of the Meeting
of July 3, 2001, as written.

ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by
Commissioner Tippin, the Board, by a 4-0 vote (Vice Chairman
Stanbridge absent) accepted the Quarterly Report for the Second
Quarter of 2001, pursuant to recommendations of staff.
Chairman Ginn acknowledged Mr. Rich Stringer in the audience

and stated that Mr. Stringer had requested to address the Board but has
agreed to make a request of the Administrator’s Office to be placed on
the agenda for the next regular Board meeting.
There being no further business, on Motion duly made,
seconded and carried, the Board adjourned at 9:34 a.m.
