EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT
The Board of Commissioners of the Emergency Services District met at the County
Commission Chambers, 180127 th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, September 9, 2008.
Present were Chairman Sandra L. Bowden, Vice Chairman Wesley S. Davis, Commissioners
Joseph E. Flescher, Peter D. O'Bryan and Gary C. Wheeler. Also present were County
Administrator Joseph Baird, Deputy County Attorney William K. DeBraal, and Deputy Clerk
Athena Adams.
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 11:44 a.m.
15.A.1 APPROVAL OF MINUTES —REGULAR MEETING OFJULY I, 2008
The Chairman asked if there were any additions, deletions or corrections to the
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 1, 2008. There were none.
ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by
Commissioner O'Bryan, the Board unanimously approved the
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 1, 2008, as written.
15.A.2 APPROVAL OF MINUTES —REGULAR MEETING OF.JULY 15. 2008
The Chairman asked if there were any additions, deletions or corrections to the
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 15, 2008. There were none.

ON MOTION by Commissioner Flescher, SECONDED by
Commissioner O'Bryan, the Board unanimously approved the
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 15, 2008, as written.
15.A.3. INVITATION FROM JOHN'S ISLAND GOLF CLUB FOR STAFF TO PARTICIPATE INA
"PUBLIC SAFETYDAY" GOLF OUTING
ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Davis, SECONDED by
Commissioner Flescher, the Board unanimously approved and
accepted the invitation from John's Island Club for Emergency
Services staff to participate in the golf outing, as requested in the
memorandum of September 2, 2008
ALL BACKUP DOCUMENTATION IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD
AND IS HEREBY MADE A PART OF THESE MINUTES
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the Chairman declared the Meeting adjourned at 11:44
a.m.
