(PUBLIC HEARING) SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT (SWDD)
PROOF OF PUBLICATION OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR HEARING IS ON FILE
IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD
Chairman O'Bryan convened the Public Hearing for the Solid Waste
Disposal District (SWDD).
Administrator Joseph Baird announced that the Fiscal Year 2014-2015
proposed budget is $11,685,228, an increase of $408,952 from last year;
and he listed the following proposed SWDD rates:
• Residential Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU) - $49.96, an increase of
$5.67
• Commercial Waste Generation Unit (WGU) - $34.05, an increase of
$3.61
• Readiness -to -Use Fee - $19.37, an increase of $0.56

Discussion ensued regarding the SWDD residential ERU rate
history/trend, and the Readiness -to -Use fee.
1:37 The Chairman opened the Public Hearing. There being no speakers,
a.m. the Chairman closed the Public Hearing.
There was a CONSENSUS to approve the proposed Solid Waste
Disposal District rates at: $49.96 for Residential E.R.U.; $34.05 for
Commercial W.G.U.; and $19.37 for Readiness -to -Use Fee, as stated
and recommended by staff.
2. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned
at 1:38 p.m.
