Re: Indian River County Public Shooting Range
Dear Mr. Cline:
As we discussed on Monday, May 20,2008, 1 am enclosing a proposed new fee rate sheet to
replace the original rates as depicted in the Concessionaire's Operational Plan (Exhibit B). As
suggested, these fees are the maximum fee that can be charged until amended and approved by
the FFWCC (Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission) as provided within the current
concessionaire contract (Contract Number 00252).
It is our intent to increase the current charges not to exceed the maximum rate as depicted on the
revised new proposed fee rate sheet (enclosed). This will allow us to recapture some of the
increased costs that we are experiencing in the management and operation of the shooting range.
Please note that there have not been any rate increases since the County entered into the original
contract with the FFWCC in March 2001.
For the record, based on the language of the current contract 1 have enclosed two copies of the
new rate sheet already signed by the County Administrator. 1 have provided a signature line for
you or whomever it appropriate to approve these new maximum rates. After you have had them
executed on behalf of your agency, please return one with both the Administrator's signature and
the appropriate signature from the FFWCC.
If you have any questions, please contact me at you r convenience.
Sincerely,
Thomas W. Frame
General Services Director
