AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE ST. JOHNS RIVER WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT
AND INDIAN RIVER COUNTY
FOR THE ALTERNATIVE WATER SUPPLY CONSTRUCTION COST SHARING PROGRAM
THIS AMENDMENT is entered into by and between the GOVERNING BOARD of the ST. JOHNS
RIVER WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT ("the District"), whose mailing address is 4049 Reid Street,
Palatka, Florida 32177, and Indian River County("Recipient"), whose address is 1840 250` Street, Vero Beach,
Florida 32960 and is effective on June 16, 2008.
WHEREAS, the District and Recipient entered into Agreement # SG323AAon December 3, 2005, for
the Indian River County's RO Concentrate Reuse Project, and amended the Agreement on June 20, 2007
(Amendment #1); and
WHEREAS, the District and Recipient desire to modify the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein and for other good and
valuable consideration, the District and Recipient, hereby agree to the following amendments:
1. AGREEMENT PERIOD: The Completion Date shall be June 15, 2009.
2. Paraeranh 1— Scone of Proiect: Paragraph 1 shall be deleted in its entirety and replaced with
the following:
"Scope of Project: Recipient shall continue the work, prosecute the work diligently, and complete the
entire work in accordance with Exhibit A-1, Revised Statement of Work, as stated in Amendment # 1,
and shall complete the work no late than June 15, 2009.
The District and Recipient agree that all other terms and conditions of the original Agreement are hereby
ratified and continue in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have duly executed this Amendment on the date set forth
below.
