The Board of County Commissioners in and, for Indian River County, Florida, met
at the Court House in Vero Beach, at 10 o'clock A.M.Tuesday, November 3rd 19301,with
the following members of the Board present: Albert 0. Helseth, Chairman; J.D.Yongue;
J.ViJaBruce; J.J.P.Hami_lton and John H. .Atkin. Also present was Miles Warren,c;lerk.
. The day being the General Election day, it was ordered the Board stand adjourned
until tomorrow mo rning at 10 o'clock.

WEDNESDAY, NOVZMR 4th 1930.
The Board of County commissioners in and for Indian River County, Florida, met
at the Court House in Vero Beach, at 10 o'clock A .M . wedne slay, November 4th 1930,
pursuant to adjournment, with the following members of the Board p-resent:Albert O.
Helseth, Chainnan; J. D. Yongue; J. W. IaBruce; J.J.P.Hamilton and John H. Atkin.
Also present were
Miles
warren,
Clerk and
Clark
S. Rice,
Sheriff.
The minutes
of the
previous
meetings
were
read and
approved.
It was ordered that the Indian River Farms Drainage District be pemmitted to
erect a store room on the County's tool house grounds, the County Engineer to locate
the site and the District agrees to remove the building when the County requests that
this be done.
County Agent, W.E.Evans, and Home Demonstration Agent, Miss Ethyl Holloway,
filed their monthly reports of activities.
yrs Robert M. Martin appeared requesting aid from the County while her husband
is serving a jail sentence for larceny. same was taken under consideration.
The County Tax Collector filed his monthly report of license collected showing
X1,536.65 collected for the state and 0793.33 collected for the County.
it was ordered the Insurance Board be authorized to write insurance on the jail
in the sum of V10, Q00, 00
It was ordered that George Nelson be given the authority to capture one Manatee
from the waters of the Indian River to be used for .scientific purposes.
It was ordered that no action be taken on the Mhos F. Palmer letter regarding
the drainage of his lands.
It was ordered that bridge be constructed on Road B-5.
It was ordered that the Roseland road be repaired just as soon as the County
Engineer is in that vicinity with the road machine.
The several bills and accounts against the Uounty, having been audited, were
examined and found correct were approved, and warrants ordered issued in settlement
of same. The bills and ; accounts so approved being on file in the office of the Clerk
of the Circuit Court. The warrants issued in settbementx of the various accounts

being listed completely in the County Finance Record as provided by laws reference to
such County Finance record and the list so recorded being made a part of these minutes
as fully and completely as if the said warrants were set out herein in detail.
The County Depository filed its monthly report showing receipts and disbursements
of the various funds under the jurisdiction of this Board, which having been checked
by the County Auditor were found to be correct.

adjourned until Tuesday, November 18th 1930.

the Court Douse in Vero Beach, at 10 o'clock AoX.Tuesday, November 18th 19309 with the
following members of the Board present: Albert 0. Helseth, Chairman; J.D.Yongue;
JXA&Bruce; J.J.F.Hamilton and John H. Atkin. klso present were miles Warren, Clerk
and Clark S. Rice, Sheriff.
The Notary public bond of B.T.Redstones in the sum _of 0500.00 with the American
Surety Company, a corporation, as surety was approved.
The Bond of C. A. Vandiveer, in the sum of 02,000.00 as member of the Board of
Public instructiona, District #29 Indian River County, with A.B.Michael and W.A.Early
as sureties
was approved.
N. E. Dale appeared before the Board regarding ditch work for McKee -sexton Land
Company. It was ordered this work be done at the cost of the Land Company, as soon
as practicable.
it was ordered that the County Engineer deliver to the Federal tick Eradication
officers such drainage pipe as is necessary to properly carry on the `lick Eradication
work in this County.
The labor pay robls, having been presented were examined and found correct, wer
approved, and warrants ordered issued in settlement of same. The record of such warm*ts
being listed completely in the County Finance Record as provided by law, reference to
such record and the list so recorded being made a part of these minutes as . fully and
completely as if the said warrants were set out herein in detail.
