AN ORDINANCE AMENDING INDIAN RIVER COUNTY CODE OF
LAWS AND ORDIIIANCES, CIiAPTER 12, SECTION 12-4, PENALTY
FOR VIOLATIONS, BY PROVIDING FOR A NEW SUBSECTION FOR
VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Indian River County, that Indian River County Ordinance No. 12-4,
which previously read:
Section 12-4. Penalty for Violations
"Any person, firm or corporation or agent thereof
violating the provisions of this act [chapter] or
of the regulations adopted pursuant hereto shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished
according to law."
Indian River County Ordinance 12-4 is hereby amended to
read as follows:
Section 12-4. Penalty for Violations
"Any person, firm or corporation or agent thereof
violating the provisions of this chapter or of
the regulations adopted pursuant hereto shall
upon conviction be punished by a fine not to
exceed $500.00. The Board of County Commissioners
may enforce the provisions of this chapter by
seeking injunctive relief, or any other remedies
provided by law.
This Ordinance shall take effect September 29, 1980.
