ORDINANCE NO. 89- 34
AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING
THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP
FROM RS-1,.SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO CG,
GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, FOR THE PROPERTY GENERALLY
LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF CR 512, BETWEEN 105TH
COURT AND 106TH AVENUE, AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND
PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE,
WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the
local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing
and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning
request; and
WHEREAS, TEe__Bo� of_County CommissionerIndian River
County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to
rezone the hereinafter described property; and
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has determined
that this rezoning is in conformance with the Land Use Element of
the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has held a public
hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in
interest and citizens were heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County
Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of
the following described property situated in Indian River County,
Florida, to -wit:
Lots 1 thru 10, and lots 29 thru 35, Block D, Pine Lake
Estates, Unit 1 as recorded in O.R. Book 123, Page 141, of
the public records of Indian River County.
Be changed from RS -1, Single -Family Residential District to CG,
General Commercial.
------All-with-the meaning_and-in-ten-t-and-as_set-forth and
described in said Zoning Regulations.
Approved and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Indian River County, Florida, on this 19th day of Dec.
1989.
This ordinance was advertised in the. Vero Beach
Press -Journal on the 29th day of Nov. , 1989, for a public
hearing -to -be held -on -the ---19th stay of Dec. , l-9 9—,at wtrich
time it was moved for adoption by Commissioner Scurlock ,
seconded by Commissioner Eggert , and adopted by the following
vote:
