ORDINANCE NO. 86-1
AN-ORDINANCE-IIF�HI_-BOARD-OFC-THF_-1--COMM1-S_S1ONERS
OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE
ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP.
FOR THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING
FOR EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the
local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing
and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning
request; and
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River
County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to
rezone the hereinafter described property; and
WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has determined
that this rezoning is in conformance with the Land Use Element of
the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and

WHEREAS-, hLBuard-otCounty-Commissrorrers- has h e-ld-a-publi
hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in
interest and citizens were heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County it
Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of
the following described property situated in Indian River County,
Florida, to -wit:
THAT PART OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE
NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 10, TOWNSHIP 32 II
SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,
FLORIDA, LYING -WEST OF THE WEST RIGH'-OE-WA-Y—LINE
OF THE FLORIDA EAST COAST RAILROAD; LESS AND
EXCEPTING THE SOUTH 35 FEET THEREOF FOR ROAD
RIGHT-OF-WAY PURPOSES. CONTAINING 36.11 ACRES
MORE OR LESS.
Be changed from RS -6, Single -Family Residential District, and
M-1, Restricted Industrial District, to IL, Light Industrial
District.
All with the meaning and intent and as set forth and described in
said Zoning Regulations.
Approved and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Indian River County, Florida on this Sth day of January
