WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River
County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to
rezone the hereinafter described property and pursuant thereto
held a public hearing in relation thereto, at which parties in
interest and citizens were heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning
Ordinance of Indian River County, Florida, and the accompanying
Zoning Map, be amended as follows:
1. That the Zoning Map be changed in order that the
following described property situated in Indian
County, Florida, to -wit:
The North 660 feet of the South;aest quarter of the
Southwest quarter of Section. i2, Township 33 South,
Range 39 East, and the North 660 feet of the
Southeast quarter of the Southaest quarter of
Section 12, Township 33 South, Range 39 East, lying
West of the West right-of-way line of the Old Dixie
Highway, LESS THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PARCELS:
From the intersection of the ;forth line of the
Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 12, Township 33 South, Range 39 East, with
the Westerly right-of-way line of the Old Dixie
Highway, run West and along the North line of the
said Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 12 (being also the North line of the
William M. Reams Estate Subdivision per plat
thereof recorded in Plat Boo): 4 at Page 77, Public
Records of St. Lucie County, Florida) a distance of
200 feet; thence rui Southeasterly and parallel to
the West right-of-way line of the Old Dixie
Highway, a distance of 699.15 feet, more or less,
to the North right-of-way line of 9th Street;
thence run East and along the North right-of-way
line of 9th Street to the West right-of-way line of
the Old Dixie Highway; thence run Northwesterly and
along the West right-of-way line of the Old Dixie
Highway, a distance of 699.15 feet, more or less,
to the Point of Beginning.
All of the above described land now lying and being
in Indian River County.
Be changed from RS -6, Single -Family Residential
District to RM -6, Multiple -Family Residential District.
AND
2. That the Zoning Map be changed in order that the
following described property situated in Indian River
County, Florida, to -wit:

From the intersection of the North line of the
Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 12, Township 33 South, Range 39 East, with
the Westerly right-of-way line of the Old Dixie
Highway, run West and along the North line of the
said Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 12 (being also the North line of the
William M. Reams Estate Subdivision per plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book 4 at Page 77, Public
Records of St. Lucie County, Florida) a distance of
200 feet; thence run Southeasterly and parallel to
the West right-of-way line of the Old Dixie
Highway, a distance of 699.15 feet, more or less,
to the North right-of-way line of 9th Street;
thence run East and along the ;forth right-of-way
line of 9th Street to the West right-of-way line of
the Old Dixie Highway; thence run Northwesterly and
along the West right-of-way lire of the Old Dixie
Highway, a distance of 699.15 feet, core or less,
to the Point of Beginning; LESS AND EXCEPT the
North 105.44 feet thereof.
All of the above described land no-.. lying and being
in Indian River County, Florida.
Be changed from RS -6, Single -Family Residential District
to C-1, Commercial District.
All with the meaning and intent and as set forth and
described in said Zoning Regulations.
Approved and adopted by the Board of County Cocmissioners of
Indian River County, Florida on this 21 day of Auvust 1985.
