AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVE R_C_OUNTY, FLORIDA ,AMENDI_NG THE
ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM RS -3
AND RM -3 TO MED FOR THE PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE 600
BLOCK OF 37TH STREET, AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the
local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing
and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning
request; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River
County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to
rezone the lmr-einafter described property; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that
this rezoning is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of
Indian River County; and
WHEREAS, -the -Board -of- County _ Commissioners has -held a public
hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in
interest and citizens were heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County
Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of
the following described property situated in Indian River County,
Florida, to -wit:
The NW ; of the NE J of Section 36, Township 32 South,
Range 39 East, Indian River County, Florida. Less and
except the NW a of the NW J of the NE Jof Section 36,
Township 32 South, Range 39 East, Indian River County,
Florida, less the north 75 feet thereof. Subject to
easements, restrictions & reservations of record. As
described in O.R. Book 500 page 308.
Be changed from RS -3 and RM -3 to MED.
All with the meaning and intent and as set forth and described in
said -Zoning -Regulations.
Approved and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of
Indian River County, Florida, on this 5 day of May , 1992.
This ordinance was advertised in the Vero Beach Press -Journal
on the 13 day of April , 1992 for a public hearing to be
held on the 5 day of May , 1992 at which time it was
moved for adoption by Commissioner Wheeler , seconded by
Commissioner Bird and adopted by the following
vote:
