WHEREAS, the standard fire prevention codes and standards are updated from time to time, and WHEREAS, it is necessary to have these Codes of Indian River County revised to reflect these updated editions, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF —COUNTY COMMISSIONERSOF IRIDIAN—RIVER—COUNTY, -FLORIDA that: SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Paragraphs (1), (2) and (3) of Section 401.04 are amended and a new paragraph (4) is added to read as follows: Section 401.04. Fire prevention codes and standards. x x x x x (1) The National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA)1, 1987 edition and its supplement codes as set forth in Annex "A" to this chapter. (2) Uniform Fire Safety Rules and Standards for the state (3) The National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA) 101 Life Safety Code 1991 edition. (4) The Standard Fire Prevention Code 1991 edition. SECTION 2. ANNEX "All AMENDMENT. A new Annex "A" is added to Chapter 401, Building Codes as -set forth- in attachment -one to -the -ordinance. SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE This ordinance shall become effective on becoming law. Approved and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, on this 4 day of August 1992.
