HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-02ORDINANCE NO. 92-02 �QE2oI'll N(1 AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM CH, HEAVY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO CG, GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT FOR THE PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF 8TH STREET, EAST OF OLD DIXIE HIGHWAY, AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. —WHEREAS, the PialLninom"iissior-,--sitting as the local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning request; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that this rezoning is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County; and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in interest and citizens were heard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by oard of -bounty Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of the following described property situated in Indian River County, ------Fiomi-da, to -wit: LOTS 24 AND 25, BLOCK 2, GLORIA GARDENS, ACCORDING TO PLAT THEREOF FILED IN PLAT BOOK 5, PAGE 33, PUBLIC RECORDS OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA. LESS THAT NORTHWESTERLY TRIANGULAR PORTION OF LOT 25, AS DEEDED TO INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA;. AND A PARCEL OF LAND SITUATE IN SECTION 13, TOWNSHIP 33 SOUTH, RANGE 39 EAST, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA.
