AR ORDINANCE OF--INDIAMUNTY
CREATING THE FLORALTON BEACH STREET
LIGHTING DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the residents of Floralton Beach Subdivision have
requested that the County este bisahanism or providingstree
lighting serviceat-rcruit o`ns-throughout-tire-subdivision,
WHEREAS the--lloard-find"hat the- creation of -a municipal
service ben ef it -uni# to -raise fund�tl3rough-the-equitable assessment ^f
property owners throughout th"ubdivision-i"he-est available means
Of accomplishing--the-desired-goal; and
WHEREA"e-provision of streetlirhting in the area will further
the safety, health and well-being of all those residing and owning
within the boundaries of the district,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, that:
SECTION 1. Creation of Municipal Service Benefit Unit.
There is hereby established in Indian River County the Floralton
Beach Municipal Service Benefit Unit under the authority of, and with
all those powers conferred by, the Constitution of the State of Florida,
Sections 125.01(q) and 125.01(r) of the Florida Statutes and Chapter
200 of the Indian River County Code County. The real property
included within the boundaries of this municipal service benefit unit is
as

3, Page 20, and the replat of part of the plat of Floralton
Beach, recorded-irePlat -Book -�, Page- of -Public Records -of ;
Indian River County, Florida.
Lying in Indian River County, Florida.
SECTION 2 LEVY.
The first non -ad valorem assessment shall be levied for the tax
year 1992 - 1993.

SECTION 5. EFFECTIVE DATE.
This ordinance shall become effective upon becoming law.
Approved and adopted by. the Board of County Commissioners of
Indian River County, Florida, on this 24 day of September, 1991.
